I have sew many sewing projects to work on, I'm feeling slightly overwhelmed. However, if I were feeling underwhelmed, there surely would be a problem! I hope to complete a Project Linus blanket for donation, as well as some lovely fleece scarves for the local women's shelter. This is a great time of year to get your kiddos involved. I am also making a lovely set for my 5-year-old for Christmas, http://www.danamadeit.com/2013/11/the-baby-doll-basket-pattern-is-here.html , a wonderful pattern by Dana Made It! Go check it out if you have a little girl you want to surprise.
I will also be making our annual fleece pj bottoms . . . or flannel. It depends on which I can get for the least amount. First, I need to make a stocking for our dog. I didn't get to it last year, and seeing as he was a wee one, I didn't think much about it. This year, however, is a different story!
So, happy stitching, and try not to get too caught up in the commercialism of the season. Give, give, and give some more.
Merry Stitching to All, and to All a Good Night!!!
Happy First Sunday of Advent as well . . . .
